This is where I tell you what I am doing and why I am doing it.

By default, as the eldest sibling, I have become the holder of many family mementos and I do not want these items to be lost, so I am going to photograph and write about them.

Just in case no-one else in the family wants to take on the various items that I have, or so that I can clear my cupboards of items I cannot use, a photographic record will at least leave some sort of legacy for future generations.

At the same time, I will be writing down family stories to do with the memorabilia and hopefully making sure they are not lost either.
